We had a very nice visit with our friends from our church in San Diego, Mary and Brian. They stopped in over the weekend while on their cross country tour. They are moving back to Wales next week after living in San Diego for the past 10 years.

We had fun meeting up with Laura and Jacqueline at a park recently. We love that they live so close to us now!

Andrew loved the swings. He laughed so hard!



Andrew's 7th tooth popped through yesterday. He is getting around more these days too. He likes to slither on his tummy, push backwards and scoot forward on his bottom. He is eating finger foods now and has a good sense of humor. He makes us smile and laugh everyday.

Father's Day Fun

adorable - he started making this face when we were shopping for his new carseat at Babies R Us in Indy over the weekend. Now he does it all of the time and it makes us laugh every time he does.

I know that I have said it before, but we really cannot believe how fast the time is going. Andrew turned 9 months yesterday and it was also the one year anniversary of us moving to Indiana and buying our house! I took Andrew for his wellness checkup today and he is growing and developing nicely. He weighed in at 19 lbs 5 oz. and is 28 5/8 inches long. Such a big boy!!

Andrew loves to be in this pose - he sleeps like this and relaxes like this. The other day we were at Target and he was in this pose while he sat in his carseat on top of the shopping cart. He was my little prince as he sat up on his throne. :)

we finally painted our master bathroom recently - it is very purple. we are slowly getting used to it.:)

Andrew was such a good boy, playing with his toys while we painted. He does a great job of entertaining himself.

Andrew continues to be so much fun for us. He is such a calm baby and has a good sense of humor. It is interesting how his social tendencies are showing through, even at 8 and a half months old. He likes to sit back and observe new situations first before showing off his charm and personality. And this just in - a new tooth today! That makes five. Four of them are on the bottom and the new one is on the top right. That explains the little bit of crankiness he had this morning at Sears as we were shopping for a new refrigerator. Ours died this weekend and Andrew did a lot of shopping with me yesterday and today to find our next one. He really did great - better then I did! :) We can't wait for it to arrive tomorrow!

warm weather fun

It got into the mid 80s last week so we decided to get the pool out for the first time. Andrew really loved it! We are looking forward to more warm days so he can splash around.



I had a hard time getting him to look up for a picture. He was so much more interested in the water and his toys!






getting a taste of green beans. I have to try very hard to look enthusiastic while feeding him these since green beans are NOT my favorite food! :)

We have been enjoying getting outside more since the weather has been so nice. We were invited to a picnic on Saturday at a nearby park. Andrew had so much fun observing the other children there. They even had baby swings so he got his first ride in one of those. I was sorry I didn't have the camera with us because he absolutely loved it! We will definitely take a walk there again soon and I will be sure to get some pictures then.

We had a great time with Andrew's godparents, Josh and Laura, and their daughter Jacqueline recently. They were in Indy finding a place to live and will be moving here from Florida in a few weeks. We are so excited!!
